"Emotional loneliness”: Should residents’ pets be allowed in all aged care homes?
Older people are more likely to live on their own, and for many, pets become their main companions, providing company and amusement, whilst besides openhanded their adoring owners a sense of aim and province.

According to the RSPCA, owning a pet can have several physical and psychological health benefits, including:
- Landscaped cardiovascular health
- Increased corporeal activeness, for example, dogs assist people get outdoors and engage in regular exercise – they are great motivators and face-to-face trainers, disregarding of the weather
- Fewer visits to the doctor
- Pet owners report inferior depression and appear to deal with grief, accentuate and loss better than not-pet owners

Determination solutions
